Bali International Convention Centre (BICC) has relaunched its website to offer visitors a virtual tour of the area’s convention centres, complete with comprehensive information on the surrounding facilities, hotels and attractions.
The portal also offers a PDF version of the planner and exhibitor handbook in addition to relevant information existing on the site to help event planners and meeting organisers host a successful event.
BICC has hosted large scale event such as the 2002 World Earth Summit, The World Tobacco Conference 2006, the Inter Parliamentary Union meeting in April 2007 as well as the 2007 PATA Travelmart.
The most significant event to date for BICC has been the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) conference which was held from 3-14 December 2007. This conference attracted 11,000 registered participants from over 180 countries, who were joined by observers from intergovernmental and nongovernmental organizations and media partners.
